Leopold Park

The Leopold Park was built in 1860 on the old fortifications of the city. The beautiful music kiosk was inaugurated in 1885. Since 1963, the world-famous flower clock also found its permanent home here.

Kursaal Ostend

Kursaal Ostend is a mythical place. As early as the nineteenth century people came to this place to relax. The present building dates from just after the Second World War. But don't worry, from 2003 to 2005 the building underwent a thorough renovation.

Nowadays Kursaal Ostend can boast a magnificent concert hall with more than 2,000 seats, the Delvaux Hall for events for up to 700 people, a magnificent Hall of Honour where up to 1,500 people can party and meeting rooms with 20 to 200 seats.

Beach bars

  • Polé Polé Beach goes for a nostalgic, lived through atmosphere, but with just that little extra, true to the name and fame.
  • Every year the surf club is also a great place to get a sweetheart or just watch the sun set with the sand tickle between your toes.
  • Blue Buddha opts for light blue accents in the interior with palm and olive trees. You have never seen Ostend so hip.
  • The guys from beach house rental Vandevelde also have a beach bar this summer. Siping a sundowner is becoming uh... a permanent fixture on the beach of Ostend.
  • Q-Beach also returns to Ostend this summer. With live performances, with music events, and with so-called silent movies, where you watch a movie with headphones.
